After a hard day, there’s nothing more relaxing than to sink into hot bath. So a lot of us see the bathroom as an “away from it all” place. But much depends on what kind of bathroom it is. When buying a used sofa, check to see that frames intact, the style is good, the arms sturdy and the springs are in the good condition. Think twice before bleaching or striping old furniture if its antique you might ruin its value and patina. And beware of antique pieces that have been altered look older. The living room, which from the center of the house, has floor or square off-white tiles,
white walls, magnolia colored curtains and tan upholstered cane furniture. This rather neutral background sets beautifully some casually placed rugs and a small ornate Jammu chest from Indonesia.
